Adult ADHD Group

Explore how to better understand, manage and work to the strengths of ADHD in adulthood in this 10-week group program run by psychologist Dr Karen Burns

A place to learn and connect

The Adult ADHD group offers a supportive environment where people can learn, share their experiences and connect with other individuals who understand the challenges associated with ADHD. Built upon current research and evidenced-based psychological approaches, it focuses on developing coping strategies, strengths and self-acceptance in an environment of accountability and encouragement.

group for?

Adults with ADHD

Adults who have a diagnosis of ADHD or who suspect they have ADHD, and who would like to learn about their strengths and discover skills to manage challenges.

Family and Friends

The group is beneficial for people who want to know more about ADHD or who want to better support a family member, friend or partner with ADHD

COURSE CONTENT

Session 7: Emerging Technologies for Divergent Minds

Session 8:  Emotional Regulation

Session 9:  Building Healthier Relationships

Session 10:  Self-Compassion and Resilience

FEES AND REBATES

Cost

$900 for 10 x 90 minute sessions (to be paid upfront for Medicare rebate purposes).

If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHCP),  you will receive a rebate of $33.60 per session.  

You pay a gap of $56.40 per week

.A $100 deposit will be required at the time of intake and this will be subtracted from your full payment.

The group will be capped at 10 people.

Sundays from 9:30am - 11:00am
